Ulinzi Starlets crowned the FKF Women Super Cup Champions

On 30th September, 2023 Ulinzi Starlets beat Vihiga Queens by two (2) goals to nill, to lift the FKF Women Super Cup title, in a match played at Utalii grounds, Nairobi. The scintillating encounter was witnessed by the Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, the Arts and Sports Hon Ababu Namwamba, EGH Football Kenya Federations CEO Barry Otieno, as well as Harambee Starlets Coach Beldine Odemba.

CS Ababu has often reiterated his ministry's commitment to support all sporting disciplines, across all levels, to build a sustainable pipeline and conveyor belt for the national teams. Under the #TalantaHela program, the ministry is seeking to identify, nurture, and monetize talents to build sustainable livelihoods from them.

The program is in sync with the Government’s Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), whose goal is to put #PesaMfukoni to talented individuals. So far, the ministry has rolled out several rewards initiatives targeting our talented persons, which has seen our creatives, sportsmen, and women put #PesaMfukoni for their creative content as well as their sporting talents.
