Welcome to the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports, reconstituted through Executive Order No. 1 of 2023 on the Re-organization of the Government of the Republic of Kenya.  The Ministry champions youth empowerment by mainstreaming young people in national development through skills development, job creation, entrepreneurship, and innovation, while equally promoting sports as a pathway for livelihoods, national pride, and social cohesion. It is committed to nurturing and monetizing creative talent and advancing sports development through strong policy leadership, talent identification and nurturing, modern facility development, and effective regulation to ensure sustainable growth across the sectors. The Ministry delivers its mandate through the State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy and the State Department for Sports, working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive inclusive socio-economic transformation.
