Office of Cabinet Secretary

The primary role of the Cabinet Secretary is to provide strategic leadership, effective organization, and coordination of the Ministry’s mandate. The Ministry champions youth empowerment by mainstreaming young people in national development through skills development, job creation, entrepreneurship, and innovation, while promoting sports as a pathway for livelihoods, national pride, and social cohesion. It is equally committed to nurturing and monetizing creative talent and advancing sports development through strong policy leadership, talent identification and nurturing, modern facility development, and effective regulation. This mandate is implemented through the State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy and the State Department for Sports, in close collaboration with stakeholders to drive inclusive and sustainable socio-economic transformation.
