MUMBI STADIUM TO NURTURE GRASSROOT TALENTS

President William Ruto today laid the foundation stone for the 10,000-seater Mumbi Stadium in Murang’a County, a fulfilment of government's commitment to deliver meaningful development to the region. The Government has invested KSh 950 million in the modern facility, which will feature an 8-lane tartan track, a VIP pavilion, changing rooms, and essential amenities, positioning Murang’a among the country’s emerging sporting hubs. Once complete, Mumbi Stadium will unlock immense opportunities by creating jobs, stimulating local businesses, nurturing talent, and inspiring a new generation of athletes in Murang’a and neighbouring counties.
